The philosophy of our Founder and Owner, Devan Sant, is that card collecting is a lifelong hobby for anyone. A huge fan of sports generally, his passion for sports cards began at an early age when his uncle showed him his own card collection from the 1980s. Intrigued by the combination of sports, statistics, and the valuation of cards, Devan began his collection with a box of Fleer base cards his parents gave him for his birthday. As he and his collection grew, he began purchasing his own cards through eBay and other online platforms and by participating in breaks. Soon he discovered other card shops in the community, developed relationships with other card aficionados, and worked at a shop on weekends and summers. He credits the support, encouragement, and knowledge of the store owners, customers, and collectors in the community in turning his passion into a business concept that is now 314 Sports Cards & Collectibles. Devan believes that it is his turn to pay it forward and share his love for cards and knowledge to install the same passion in other new or curious collectors.

“I love collecting cards of Saint Louis born athletes like Trent Frederic, Chris Wideman, and Joaquin Buckley. I also have a growing collection of tennis cards, UFC cards, hockey cards, and boxing.”
Fahad Albazi
“I just recently got my PhD (Doctor of Pokemon). My collection has recently grown beyond pokemon. I collect Parayko, Liverpool, Messi, Weiss, Formula 1, and some Marvel cards. Catch me making short films in my free time.”
Hunter Garrett
“I started collecting when I was 15. I used to only collect hockey, but later expanded into other sports. I collect Matas Buzelis, Kobe Brown, & William Eklund. My favorite thing about the shop is helping kids learn more about the hobby.”

“I enjoy most sports and hope that the shop can bridge a gap between fan and athlete. I originally collected MTG as a kid, but over the last 5 years, I started collecting a bit of everything. I love F1 cards, Ohio State, and players that I can connect with. If you catch me at the shop, I’m always happy to help you find something you’re passionate about collecting. Outside the shop, I love to help people buy and sell homes and go fishing.”
